So GUESS who I saw riding around on his bike shirtless this afternoon? If you answered GEORGE, then you too get to join me in scrubbing our eyes out with bleach. :-X SERIOUSLY MAN. WHY!?!?!
Work is going fine - my feet are bloody KILLING me because I am just not used to standing that much, but at least Klint is keeping his crazy to a minimum. I suspect that it is going to take me until the end of the summer to actually get the gov docs caught up, because he keeps pulling me from that to do the "urgent things" that wouldn't be bloody urgent if he would just start them sooner, but such is life! Oh, the SHOCK of it all - we are now not starting the inventory until July 1, instead of June 1. Who wants to take bets that we actually don't get started until August? Ajay and I are working on moving any thesis published before 1990 to CPC, and it is making me QUITE depressed. I mean, the amount of dust on these things looks like no one has touched them since they were put there. If someone is spending that much time and effort on something, I feel like people should at least OPEN the fucking thing every once in a while! We were trying to figure out how much time that we were moving per cart, assuming that each masters thesis was about a semester's worth of worht and a doctoral about a year. When we got to the point of realizing that each cartload of theses was a human life span, I just stopped thinking about. DEPRESSING YO!
I took a walk to Chipotle to get dinner (because between the 4 members of my family, we really only have 1 full brain, and that brain forgot nearly all of my food) and I walked past the for rent house. I did see our new neighbors (at least I ASSUME that they were are new neighbors!) but I can't tell if they are for rent boys or girls - there were 4 people sitting on the porch, and I couldn't figure out which ones were the ones living there, and who were the SOs. Maybe we have for rent couples living next to us - that drama could be HILARIOUS! I also checked on Katie's truck - it is fine, and it looks like it is being joined for the summer by a large boat of a Chevy. Maybe they will breed over the summer and have monstrously LARGE off-spring!
Stephie and I saw The Invible this weekend, which was actually MUCH better than I expected! Although I was so confused about the large amounts of teeney boppers in the theater - It was me, my sister, and about 20 12 year olds. All of whom were laughing at the parts that I was actually enjoying. I got my revenge though - both Steph and I were DYING at the end when the love interest exchanged her life for his. SO FUNNY! (And pretty much explained why the teeney boppers were there. I mean, the climax of the movie was "I Will Follow You Into the Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie. SERIOUSLY) And Callum was just awesome, and the kid was actually kind of attractive, so not a bad use of my $7 on the whole. I think we've decided to wait until Spidey 3 goes to the cheap theaters - I REALLY want to see the eyeliner and dancing, but that is all, so while James Franco is probably worth seeing it sooner, I don't know if KIERSTEN DUNST is. *sporks her*
Also, YAY for SPN being renued! *twirls it around* And I also hear
rumors that it is definite that BSG's next season is its last, so SWEET! That should give them plenty of time to wrap things up, and hopefully make it again the show that I once loved so much! And Heroes! EEP!! Not only was this week's show TOTALLY kickass (and, uh, PETRELLICEST FTW!) but that
Heroes Origins thing that they are doing actually sounds pretty sweet. And, ya know, YAY HEROES IN GENERAL! I now REALLY can't wait for next week! I find myself strangely not caring about SPN this week, even though I am still happy that it is renewed. It is a very fun, delightfully vapid show, but REALLY. Did they actually think that I was going to be WORRIED about Sam's possible death? They only have two leads! *continues to yawn at the false suspense*
And in conclusion, I am getting more than a little bit concerned about my well being as it gets hotter here. It is already nearly 5 degrees hotter in my room than the outside, and it is only in the low 80s! WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO ME WHEN IT GETS TO THE 90s!! Seriously, if I melt into a puddle, let my parents know I loved them, and my sister gets my DVDs. You guys can divide up the rest of my money for grad school.
