PrinciPAL characters, not princiPLE characters, good grief. Does nobody proof-read any more, or did I miss a patch to the English language?

It's not that nobody prufe-redes, it's that the proof-readers themselves don't know the language sufficiently well.

Sadly this is all too true. In a previous job I refused to put a change to the web site onto our live servers because the proof readers had missed the glaring grammatical errors. I'm supposed to be the science geek. The humanities morons are the ones that are meant to do languages. It doesn't seem to work like that any more.
