I'm a little behind myself, but here's the next assignment -- only a single verse this time, but a moderately long one....

First thing that strikes me is the form of the name, Ramah. An article is added, as though Ramah was not a name but a noun. On the other hand, He locale is added, too, so that it becomes clear that Ramah must be the name of a place toward which the parents went.

Second is, that LXX obviously had a different text, reading: And they left him there and went away to Armathaim, and the child was ministering to the face of the LORD before Eli the priest.
