'Allo, 'Allo
Well, it has been a while...Not that I haven't written loads of entries in my head and promptly forgot them as soon as I sat down to transcribe them :) Work has been insanely busy and I am having a ball! It is lots of fun and I am enjoying having a busy day. The late time that I get home is not easy to deal with but what can I do? I just need to figure out my feeding schedule hahaha
How have you been? What have you all been up to? Next Saturday we will meet up for the make up book club session and hopefully for a walk next Sunday. We went to Haverah Park today and it was absolutely gorgeous. Bright sunny skies and crisp wind. Ok, gale force winds but no one else there! It will be absolutely spectacular once the spring comes. I think I have found my perfect picnic spot! It was quite muddy but I was quite impressed with how dirty my shoes and jeans got! Quite fun thinking that I won't get fussed at for getting all muddy from my Grandma :)
We went to see Slumdog Millionaire last night and it was quite good. It was very realistic in its portrayal of the slums of Bombay and Mumbai. J was impressed as he never seemed to associated such destitution with India. Highly recommended and, in the end, heartwarming.
Today J is making fish pie and I am going to wash clothes and vacuum. K-9 is on television right now and I think I shall watch it and read my book, drink a cup of chamomile tea, and eat a hot cross bun!
