ahhh it feels good to handle tangible products~
As a relatively new K8 fan and newish Arashi fan? i never thought I'd be able to possess an original Japan edition copy of anything without it costing me a limb and some organs.
So after going to HK And being introduced to the Sino centre where it's Japanese stuff galore (me being a newbie to my mother country and not knowing this place *hangs head in shame*) I was all happy and hyper that i can actually see these products in it's flesh and not just scans or as links on the interwebz. But the price was pretty hard hitting. I couldn't bare to buy a Japanese edition of ANY Arashi album because they were selling for like HKD$300+ for an album. I might as well buy from Yesasia for that price! singles aren't better HKD$100+ for a single!
I only bought a HK release of KAT-TUN's 3rd album and a Japanese release of their single White Xmas. They both cost the same.....shows the difference between Japanese released goods eh? X_x Well i treated myself to a few of those idol mags like Popolo and Duet, i was tempted to buy Wink Up but Arashi weren't on the cover and i was a newbie to K8 (who was on the cover) and didn't buy Wink Up............FOR SHAME! Well there's my moment of being a fangirl and buying idol mags.
Anyways, after joining into the K8 fandom i finally got my hands on their PUZZLE album LE version. What convinced me besides the songs was also it came with a jigsaw set, although ofc nothing elaborate but the additional stuff is a very nice bonus ^^ and unlike a few Arashi albums i quite like most of the songs here *is bricked by hoards of fans*. So much so i was totally caught up to buying their 2nd album while my friend was on a spending spree, so i can't wait for that to arrive too~~~~ (^0^)
The Puzzle album/box was cellophane wrapped, and it practically killed me to open it because I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to keeping things AS NEW AS POSS! (refer to Yokoyama's OCD in keeping the screen protector on a new phone, I can TOTALLY relate to that). Thus taking off the cellophane wrapping would means i lose the "Caution" triangle and the tracklist on the bottom side. I'm sure scans of the box can be easily found anywhere so i'm just taking quick random shots of opening the thing =Db
Fangirling aside , i'll probly post a report for Utada Hikaru's concert in the UK on the 11th i attended , because I have nothing to do and I like to refresh myself if i ever look back on what a write............
Hope everyone had a nice Chinese New Year and Valentines! mine are...."memorable" i guess ._.
