This 700bn dollar bailout failed to pass today. The news crews are scouring the streets for our opinion. They were getting all the working class views like street sweepers, retail clerks, janitors, etc. For the most part the sound bits go like this, "Well, that's too bad for them. I have to get back to work." Then the "experts" are yelling "but why don't you people understand. This bailout will eventually benefit you."
Really? What can be worse than broke? Is there a MORE broke degree that I don't know about? And if we have 700bn to bailout the banks, why haven't we used it in the past to bail us poor folks the fuck out? 700bn, really? I'm sure the folks across the street from me in the PJs could use 700bn.
