If you have seen the lineart then u don’t really feel like its any different cept the fact I add colour! 8D No fancy effects from me. PS hates me. Anyways... I intended the picture to be sweet and fluffy which I think I phailed. This is my first time at full CG-ing so please don’t be too hard on me & at happy expressions. *bricked*
I wanted the feeling of Yama just coming back from work then he greets Gokudera with a hug from the back like in the pic. Dera, being in a good mood, lets him do so and grabs a hold of his arm and brings him closer. Yama whispers into Dera's ears “Hayato, happy birthday. I love you." And Dera replies with a snort " Pfft, me too idiot. Me too." He kisses Yama and ... Fandom... I don’t need to explain what explain after THAT riteee? 8D XD
I am not very sure u can see it but I put matching engagement rings on their ring fingers. Hayato's has 'Takeshi' on it and vice versa. Dera is wearing a dew drop necklace symbolizing the Rain symbol, which is Yama's attribute if u can’t make out that it’s a dew/rain drop. Haha. Oh and Yama TYL with a piercing is DEFINATELY a MUST in my book XDDD
Lastly, about the poem... Uhhh... Totally came up with it right after I woke up so don’t kill me if it sounds weird. XDDD I was going for their perspectives of each other.
Yamamoto's side:
Yamamoto cherishes the fact that Gokudera has slowly and progressively opened up to him in the course of this ten years. He can see that Gokudera has forgone the feeling of hatred he once harbored for him in place with sweet affection. They had come such a long way, with all the hardships and Yamamoto almost losing his life twice and Gokudera on several occasions too. (Especially the fight with Yamamoto against Gamma) He knows that Gokudera cares when he found out from Tsuna that Gokudera was genuinely worried and ANGRY at his attacker which was Kaoru of Shimon FUCKINGBASTARD Ehem... >.> (that Tsuna told Yama part was utterly made up. *cough*) Also that he would AVENGE the bastard that did this to him. You all saw how mad he was. No one else said anything about getting back at Shimon except the Storm Guardian. Yamamoto is interested in Gokudera because he found him well... INTERESTING... But that changed as the series progressed. It was clear. So it was obvious he want to find out more about him, and this had lead to Yamamoto falling for Gokudera. And even after 10 years, he still yearns to learn about his silver haired lover. Now, it’s not because of curiosity but pure love. Everyone also knows that Yamamoto, once serious, is deadly. So if he days he's gonna stay by Gokudera's side till his life ends. He very well intends to do it. That's the man Yamamoto Takeshi is.
Gokudera's side:
It is as clear as day that Gokudera's 1st love, note LOVE and not crush/admiration(towards Tuna) is Yamamoto. Dude, they appear EVERYWHERE together. He fights and ignores these feelings at 1st for it was honestly foreign to him. He never knew such a thing called 'LOVE' or at least he has forgotten what it truly was. So he feels scarred and he plays it off as he hates Yamamoto to his guts. He can't explain how or why he fell for the idiot even though he tells his brain repetitively that he is the competition for the position of 'the right hand man of Vongola' He wouldn’t acknowledge the feelings because he was afraid. Afraid of something he didn’t understand even though he was a prodigy. After all these years, when Gokudera thinks back... Now 10 years into the future after the 'defeat Byakuran to save the future thingy' he finds the way he acted when he was 14 was really funny. How childish and in denial he was with Yamamoto. But he knew since the start and now TYL that he never once truly regretted being with Yamamoto. Not once. He could open up to him because Yamamoto could readily accept him, deep down inside he knew. But no one ever said anything bout him telling it to anyone. The swordsman would accept him for the person not known as the Vongola Tenth’s Right Hand Man. The façade he so desperately puts up but the UMA loving, tsundere pianist that yearns nothing more then to be loved. I believe that Gokudera doesn’t wear all those accessories because he has terribly good sense in fashion but it’s as a ‘back off, I bite/I’m strong’ feeling so others fear him. This is his own was to protect himself. Or the way he speaks or the fact that he smokes, it all leads to his sense of acting tough in order to protect him. If by chance his mother hadn’t died when he was younger, he would never have become the chain smoking, bad mouthed bomber we love. No. I highly doubt that he would even come to Japan. Let alone meet Yamamoto. Lastly, Gokudera finds not only Yamamoto’s smiles/laughs infectious but also his idiocy since he feels like such a fool sometimes when his raven haired lover is so quick to see through his true intentions/feelings. He discovers that he is definitely deeply in love with Yamamoto.
