Self confidence should never be measured by appearance. It should be built by the human you are. Looks they fade your legacy doesn’t. Confidence should be built by your heart, by your drive, by your compassion, by your dreams and by your faith.
It is instilled in you, by self, by family, by Friends, by loves and by life’s lessons. And even through, enemies, mistakes & tragedy... it can grow. The choice is ours. Do we use these to build or destroy? So, no matter what you look like or what you were born into, you have the power within you to emerge victorious in the battle. For self confidence or to give way to self defeat. It is you and only you that can build this or tear it down. Your choice, your life, your dreams and your destiny. As for me, there is no defeat on my radar. I will be self confident and no one will or can take that from me.
Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have great memories, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart.
