does the author of the book have a family member who is also an author, cause the last name sounds really familiar, and i can't stand any of the books by the other author cause they're very hard to read and uninteresting.

I have no idea. She was not a professional AT ALL, but hoped that her book could be used as an educational tool. By who, I don't know. I feel bad for thinking negative about her because obviously the book helped her get & stay sober. I doubt she is related to another author (unless there are two people who've written so-called books from the same family). She's from NS, so I don't think her book got outside the province.
