I know you asked in jest, but I think there are several things going on.

First, he's not to bright to begin with.
Second, like many recovering alcoholics, he tends to see things in black and white.
Third, he is easily bored and let's others do the work he's supposed to be doing: like thinking.

The citizens of East Haven, CT. The town that I grew up in, just elected a new Mayor. April Capone won over the 10 year incumbent by about 20 votes.

April has been a resident of East Haven for four years. April is 32 years old. April has NO political experience.

I can't wait for the local trash haulers to pay her a visit and 'introduce' themselves.

yet... I think April would do a better job than The Shrub.
