My car odometer went through 120,000 miles today. And, I diagnosed a noise a bit more carefully: yup, the exhaust is going out the wrong hole.
Of course, the root cause is that there's now two holes in the exhaust system rather than just the tailpipe.
When I fixed this on my civic 13 years ago it cost me about $300. Probably double that by now. I'll have to check.
