Last Saturday, Kami and I went to see the fall colours and enjoy the beautiful weather. We went to Laurel Hill SP, which I hadn't been to in some time, and did the hike out of the 50 hikes book. The colours were slightly pre-peak; probably *today* is the optimal day -- I'd be hiking except I'm a bit sick and have lots to do and the forecast called for cloudy and rainy.
I took
this shot at the small dam, taking advantage of the reflection off the pond.
This one was at the bridge where the park road crosses the stream; same effect.
We spent some time trying to get pictures of the bees madly pollinating. I think my
focus was just a tiny bit off. I describe this one as artistically bad. As in, it's bad in a particular way that makes it artsy.
