"What would possess you to bring the thing home in the first place?” Megamind yelled over the noise, moving around SpiderBot to intersect. He was too late, though, and the creature dashed back under the machine.
On the other side, reaching to make a grab and also missing, Minion’s voice was panicked, “I don’t know, Sir! I guess I just couldn’t stand to see him killed! He looked so cute in that chef’s hat…”
The pig ran between his legs and towards a hallway. Megamind, growling with frustration, came around and the two started to chase after it, “The thing is nothing but trouble, Minion, what would we even do with him? You should have left it where you found it!”
Minion looked absolutely horrified at that idea, his eyes wide and toothy mouth agape, “Sir! What if our Uncles had thought like that when they found us?”
This stopped them in their tracks. Megamind blinked, then smiled at Minion, “Well, you have an excellent point there. I suppose we can kee-”
They both jumped when suddenly there was the crackling sound of electricity, accompanied by an ear-piercing squeal and followed by a rather proud sounding bowg!
Just minutes later, Roxanne came back with lunch. Sniffing the air, she gave them a strange look of confusion, “Why do I smell bacon?"
