This week was really wierd. The supposed start of Senior Spring, the time I've been waiting for just about all year, came and went without too much of an impact. I still had to do my work, I still had to go to school, and I still end up this week sitting here on Friday night feeling completely exhausted. And frustrated.
It's not that I expected for school to just be a laugher for the rest of the year, I just expected, well, something different. And, really, this week was basically normal.
But no more bitching. Time to discuss more important things. Like the OC. Now, any of you out there who have never seen the OC are probably thinking that you've heard this one too many times. Believe me, I can empathize with you. I was once not an attict.
But the OC is amazing. As I sit here, we are only about FIVE days from and ALL NEW EPISODE, the first in three weeks. It's the one where that crackpot Oliver whips out a gun and locks himself in a room with dear Marissa (If she dies, I promise you I will never watch the show again.) I have been waiting too long. THREE WEEKS!!! Why are they doing this to us????
It started out as my sister's obsession. I dismissed it like it was another one of her fads, like Gilmore Girls or something. But when I finally sat down, I was amazed. My father even joined in and sooner or later my brother started to watch with us.
So every Wednesday, four out of the five members of my family (my mother is still holding out) gathers in the TV room at 9 PM to share in the wonder that is the OC.
On a sadder note, there are only six more new episodes of Friends. And, even sadder, I finished Season Three tonight. So onto Season Four.
Uughh mornign practice tommorow at Brown at 8. Eeesh. I need some OC to cheer me up...
