Sooo... Australia is out of the picture... I am going to Vietnam instead!!!
I am so excited and very nervous at the same time. One of my favorite teachers is leading the trip in the fall and asked me if I'd consider switching programs. It better suits my majors (Envir. Studies and Urban Studies) It's much more of a challenge- the culture shock, the language barrier, the malaria pills (eek!) but I can't stop thinking about it.
And since we don't get a week off in the Vietnam program, D is going to come at the end of the 3.5 months to visit me and we are going to travel to Thailand and Laos for a week before returning home!!! It's a longer wait to see her, but I know we can do it. I can't wait!!!
