Really long update.
Ok I haven't been on here for a while so here's an extrenely long update on my so interesting life if any of you guys wanna read it.
First I went to cardiff last weekend to do a performance exam, we went on friday and came back on sunday. What we had to do was come up with a 5 min presentation of a potentially hour long performance, we had to base it on something that inspired us in the National Art Museum. We came up with the piece on saturday and performed the presentation on sunday, I think it went really well.
We didn't get much sleep though while we were there, we stayed at a youth hostel and on the first night we kept on being disturbed by this Irish guys who appeared to be on holiday for the weekend, our rooms had no locks on them so they kept wondering in soooooooooo annoying, that night we got 6 hours sleep.
On the second night it was saturday night so we decided to sample the cardiff night life, we went to this Irish pub, then the daddy of all wetherspoons, it was a converted theatre, HUGE! Then we went on to this underground club called Metros, it was so amazing, it played alot of rock and indie music, that night we only got 4 hours sleep, and the exam was the following day.
Right onto this weekend: me and my mum went to London on friday to see this really exclusive Keane gig, which was the first ever performance of their new album, only 800 people were aloud in. I travel by bus from Aber to Llangurig, mum picked me up there and we drove to Newport, from there we took the train to London Paddington, we then took the underground to a pub to meet some fellow keane fans and finally we walked to our hotel which was only 10 seconds away from the gig venue and only 30 secs away from Goodge street that had loadsa places to eat, we went to an Italian restaurant and sat outside on the pavement watching the London world go by, it was like being on holiday.
Eventually we got to the gig and it was AMAZING! they played a load of their new songs including 'Is It Any Wonder' and some of their old songs, I got a clear view of Tom Chaplin and some class photos, Tom was wearing some very nice tight jeans Ooh Err!
We travelled back on saturday morning and on that evening me, mum, harriet and charlie all went to cardiff to see Dylan Moran, BLOODY FUNNY!
Few! right now I'm back in aber trying to sort out the rest of my life, i've got a trial shift at this health food place, I hope I get the job, and i hope to go viewing this studio flat on the sea front on either wednesday or thursday, me and book are in desperate need of somewhere to live.
I think I shall stop there.
