Matt 9:5 "Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven;' or to say, 'Get up, and walk?'"
This passage represents a close relationship, perhaps one of identity, between forgiving and performing a miracle.
The relationship between forgiving and judgment, and the thoroughness of the ego's world-perspective, suggests that it would take a miracle to undermine that state of mind.
Also comparing the two, both were originally believed to come only from God. Jesus clarified that it was necessary for both to come from men. He instructed us to forgive each other and he instructed his disciples to go out an perform miracle.
