Oh boy. Lets see what trouble I can get in for posting this...
POLS was nice. I did not take many bits of notes for some reason. Not a whole lot to take notes on I guess. Its all civil rights so I guess I know them already.
MATH was next and it was good. Had the last in-class gateway exam today. This one seemed a lot easier than the first in-class one and I hve a good feeling about it. I need those 100 points like I need a breath to stay alive. Well, I dont need them but I want them really bad.
HIST was nice today. Talked about Rome more. He got so excited about the battle stuff. "Hannibal had elephants which were like super-tanks. These freaked the other soldiers ou because they are freaking elephants! He would let them go and just trample people. So what they did was lined up in a checkerboard pattern and when he released the elephants ordered the rear flanks to shift and make a pathway for the elephants to run through." It was just funny and he had the best expressions on his face while he was talking about it.
POLS discussion. My oh my. Got our tests back today. I was told that most did worse than before and I thought the material and test was quite a bit harder than the first one so I was afraid of what I got. He handed back the copies of our scantron sheet and said that the 3 digit number at the bottom left was the number we got right out of 40. I looked down there and it said 036. I probably got 8 points today instead of 7 because when I saw that I actually said out loud "You've got to be shitting me!" So I increased 5% from my last test (which was an 85% for those that cant do the math) and probably higher points for my discussion grade because I actually talked in there. (36/40 - 90% - A).
I have an E-Town Hall meeting at 7p today and then a floor meeting tonight at 10p. My English paper is due Thursday, I get to enroll on Thursday, and I am seeing King Arthur with Libby on Thursday (which is the first movie I think they have shown that I haven't seen yet), then I have a math test this Friday. Its a busy week! I need to do some work on the Ellsworth site but for some reason I cannot connect to any FTP site, not even those of my own server. Really odd so I emailed them and have yet to hear back.
