Ok, so a little overreaction on my part last night may have been true. But here is why. First off I value my sleep greatly. I never sleep very sound and never very deep normally so I rarely feel rested when I wake up. Recently I have also found that it takes about an hour after I hit the pillow to fall asleep when it used to take about 15 minutes, so going back to the room at 3, I got to sleep again around 4:15 or so. Plus, I am pissed that I had to get up and stand in the cold for half an hour with a bunch of drunk college kids that actually have lives. Here however is probably the biggest reason why. The fire alarm speaker is at my head. Here, this is hard to explain without you seeing it, and since only 1 person here has (I think), I drew a picture.
Damn, I should switch to architecture! That is an awesome pic and its so drawn to scale. Anyway, see how the box is positioned perfectly center above my head. Sometimes I have to move down on my bed because I hit it with my head. That and it hums...constantly. It puts me to sleep, much the same way rain does with people (including me) with a repetative soft noise. Maybe thats why I woke up moments before it happened...because it stopped or something. Because I woke up, actually leaned forward to look at the clock, got pissed I was awake then, layed back down, and it went off.
Getting close to breakfast at E's time...I best be going.
