welp, i did it.
I put in job applications to all the places. (Not all of the places, but some of them.) I am so glad I have drafts of all these documents for next year already, because it was truly awful to write all of them.
And academic job applications are nothing like other jobs. For some departments I needed up to seven different documents, most of which were basically short essays...
In any case, I'm glad this is over, and now it's back to my regularly scheduled program of reading and writing.
