omg lol i never want to apply for any job ever again ever.
I applied for two academic positions today and it was seriously the most stressful thing I have had to do in a good long while.
But I did it! They are in. I don't expect to get any callbacks because I am a bit too early in my program still, but it is good practice for next year, and it means I will have all my documents in a rough draft form already.
...although now that I say out loud that I applied for two jobs, it sounds a little crazy. Didn't I just start this program, like, yesterday?
(Non-academic job applications do not give me this kind of existential angst, I swear.)
