A New Blog
Hello all,
I recently decided to be a part of Soulforce's 2007 Equality Ride. Soulforce is a non-profit organization committed to ended religious and political based oppression of GLBT individuals.
During the 2007 Equality Ride, 56 riders will visit 33 schools with official policies discriminating against GLBT persons. The goal is to start and continue a dialogue about these policies and the GLBT issues at large. Many of the schools have welcomed us onto their campuses, but a few are not excited about our upcoming visit.
The ride will hopefully put a human face on a topic that has unfortunately become a political hot-button issue. And it will hopefully replace demonization and name-calling with conversation.

I have started a new blog at http://allpointsinbetween.blogspot.com/. When the list of riders and schools are made public, I will be receiving much more attention from the public/press and I wanted to create a separate space for my "public persona." I might continue to update this journal with friends-only posts but for now that one is my main focus. I think.
I'll still be reading about all of your fun and exciting lives on here. And I'm in Los Angeles until the end of the month and want to see each and every one of you (No seriously. Molly, Aaron, Jess, Elizabeth, et al... expect phone calls and emails from me!)
