And the winner is...
Went to bed last night still unsure, but found out this morning that the brilliant Holly Black (aka 
blackholly) won the very first Andre Norton Award, for her second urban fantasy novel, Valiant. Holly was actually at the awards ceremony, and I do hope her hubby took pictures, because I really would have loved to see her face when the announcement was made. Congrats, Holly, you so deserved it, and I'm thrilled to pieces for you!
