(no subject)
- Got to see Alana saturday. First time since July 2006. Only about 50 minutes (including "interruptions" from patrons since she WAS officially on-the-job)
- Dinner at CiCi's was quite good for the fellowship, even though the food's not all that wonderful. (it's NOT *bad* but other than price and company, not really on my list o' fave places). Played "the claw machine." Managed to pull three plushies from the thing. (and gave 'em to female company).
- Scavenger hunt at WalMart afterward (followed then by our returning everything to where we'd gotten 'em from!). quite amusing. I think I'll call it a "draw" as to who won, since it depends on how one defines one of the items.
- Went to Engleman after that; (re?)learned basics of Eucre (sp?).
- Followed by what wound up being a lengthy 'n awesome conversation with Earl and Kim.
nights like this.....despite a number of people M-I-A.....are by far my favorites. And what make my being around WORTHWHILE. I wish every saturday/night could be this...meaningful/impactful/etc.
