life, moving forward (waaaay too fast!)
Hi, hey there. :)
Okay, a few more months into home ownership finds me content and happy. Well, content except for the fact that I'm GETTING MARRIED IN LESS THAN 3 MONTHS!!!
To be more precise, I'm getting married in 80 days. WHAT???
Wedding stuff is fun and insane, but mostly it's crazy. We have all sorts of fun hurdles to jump over. Yay... But no, really, I'm going to make it. I swear.
So my house is freaking awesome. We've got a majority of the work done, or at least waiting to be done.
My kitchen cabinets are painted a delicious chocolatey brown, and the cabinet doors... well, they are partially painted. We have quite nice handles for the cabinets though - they look like little silver eggs. And, AND we have a gorgeous new fridge in the kitchen - black, to go with the rest of the appliances.
Everything is painted that needs to be except for part of the stairwell, and that and finishing the cabinet doors are this weekends chores. My bedroom is delightful. My living room is perfect...
And my swimming pool? My amazing big in ground swimming pool? Well, it kicks ass. Big time.
I even got a bunch of things planted. I have a garden. Yay!
We spent this past weekend being vegetables- and going to the DMB concert on Saturday which was the time of my life.
I was exhausted, but I've been that way for over a week now, and I didn't really think about it too hard, but today... I called in sick to work (gotta love sick time), and went to the doctor. And, I have mono. Yay, mono (end sarcasm). Yay, mono again! Who the hell gets mono twice???? Apparently I do. Great.
But that's the worst of my problems right now, and for that, I am grateful. I'm loving life- it's really, really busy, and things with the wedding stuff are getting very, very hectic, but life is GREAT!!
