My life right now is objectively very similar to the summer camps I used to attend as a child, maybe even better. It is practically free for me (cheap rent, financial aid, theft), I live with a bunch of my good friends that I love and have fun with, I can do whatever I want all the time, and there are exciting events (parties, shows) very often. Specifically, this is just like the one year at summer camp where the inhabitants of my neighbor cabin constantly made fun of and threw water balloons at me; punctuated by realizations that I was way less happy than I should be.
Late night TV is insane and shows deep insight into our culture. The majority of late night programming is composed of infomercials, sponsored/produced/designed/directed/written by people who have devoted their entire lives and interests in trying to sell other people something that is actually NOTHING. All other programming is idealistically similar, in the sense that it is all the fruits of the labors of people who have devoted themselves entirely to something stupid and meaningless. Nobody gives a fucking shit about "Animal Storm Stories."
My entire social universe is composed of attractive people. What the fuck?
Gobama.
