Well, it's official, I declined the position in San Pablo.
I just got off the phone, sent an e-mail in case they wanted to read it I suppose.
I fear this may not be a good choice, but I am confident that it is. I think I always have some fear in decisions I make, but I think that if my goal is to be back in higher education, both working and as a student, then that is where my focus needs to be.
Yesterday I began the makings of a folder. I have a calendar with dates of when applications are due to certain colleges for certain positions. I started to print out job descriptions and resumes, so I'm hoping I can build a folder with the calendar, job description, the resume and the cover letter that I sent to them...so should I receive call backs I can have easy references.
Also while doing all of this, I need to find some type of job in Barstow, so I think tomorrow I am going to just flood the outlets and stores with applications in hopes that someone will call me back with a full time position.
