Please read this before posting or commenting.
Basic Rules:
No godmodding, though this is a pretty basic rule and should be followed pretty easily.
No criticizing or flaming other threads; this is an open environment. This means no complaining about the subject to the participants of the thread. This also includes complaining or criticizing the writers in any way; this is not only a place for fun, but a place to learn better writing skills. If I find out you're doing this, your journal will be banned from the community. Nobody likes a doucheknocker. D:
Applying:
There is not a limit on how many characters you can claim (as of now). You can claim any of the original Beatles as well as:
- family members such as Julia Lennon or Louise Harrison
- business associates such as George Martin or Neil Aspinall
- close friends such as Bob Dylan or Eric Clapton
- wives or past girlfriends such as Yoko Ono or Jane Asher
- children such as Dhani Harrison or Sean Lennon
Please note that a separate journal for each character is not necessary, but highly recommended. That way it's easy to follow who is who. At the very least you should be using a different icon with your character.

Please post all roleplaying threads in the main community, beatlesfreerp.
You should put this at the beginning of every thread:
Who: (this should be written either as a pairing [ex. John/George] or a friendship couple [ex. John&George], and should include everyone and all pairings involved [ex. Paul/Jane, Ringo/John/George, Paul&Ringo])
Where:
When:
Summary: (leave blank if you don't know, but be sure to fill it out by the time you are done)
Rating: (if you have a preconceived notion on what it may be)
Warnings: (if there are any)
- Then put everything else underneath an lj-cut.
Everything is accepted, but please remember that there are topics that make people 'squick', and warning are a must!
- always put a warning on: sexual situations, non-consensual sex, rough sex, bondage/BDSM (should be separate from "rough sex"), incest, sex with minors (or between minors)
- you do not need to put warnings on these, but please be sure they do get reflected in your rating: alcohol use, drug use, cursing, heavy petting
Any thread that are without these warnings that I find need to have them will be given 48 hours to edit. If not, the thread will be deleted.
Always state the following in your summary:
- AU situations, time travel, crack/OOC, situations involving death, character change (such as gender-swapping or reincarnation)
Make sure you tag your entry! It should always be tagged, so I can easily archive/mem it. :D

As I said before, there is no topic that will be turned away, but if you do have a concern about a certain thread, bring it up with me and I'll check it out. If it's entirely too graphic or inappropriate (and trust me, it'll have to be pretty bad if I think it's going far), the roleplayers will be notified.
As long as the pairing has to do with the Beatles, it cannot be denied. To be more blunt, here's the skinny.
Acceptable:
- Beatle/Beatle (ex. John/Paul)
- Beatle/Wife or Girlfriend (ex. John/Yoko Ono)
- Beatle/Associate (ex. John/Mal Evans)
- Beatle/Friend (ex. John/Bob Dylan)
- Beatle/Family member (ex. John/Julia Lennon or John/Peter Harrison)
- Beatle/Children (ex. George/Dhani Harrison or Paul/Sean Lennon)
- Wife or Girlfriend/Wife or Girlfriend (ex. Jane Asher/Cynthia Powell)
- Children/Children (ex. Dhani Harrison/Sean Lennon)
- Any threesome, foursome or moresome of the above pairings.
Not acceptable:
- Anything not on that list, which includes Friend/Friend (ex. Bob Dylan/Eric Clapton) or Wife or Girlfriend/Friend (ex. Pattie Boyd/Eric Clapton). However, these may be used in addition to one of the acceptable pairings (ex. George/Eric Clapton with Pattie Boyd/Eric Clapton).
Please note that any of the "Fifth Beatles" (ex. Brian Epstein) are included in the "Beatle" category, and can be put in a relationship together (ex. Stuart Sutcliffe/Pete Best).
