You simply have *got* to wonder about German publishers Heyne.
Long term Pratchett fans remember them from such gems as
the soup ad in Sourcery and the very perplexing cover of
the double edition of The Colour of Magic and Sourcery. Perplexing that is, until you see the the book that cover originally illustrated (which I have sadly forgotten what was).
Turns out they're still at it. They're John Scalzi's publishers, and today
he talks about his latest being out in Germany. With the same cover as his previous two (apart from slight colour changes), which incidentally was originally
the cover of Ken MacLeod's Cassini DivisionOh well, I guess they must be paying the artists, or else...
Oh, and: Champions!!
