catch-up

I've not posted much lately, not really been in the mood, which is strange as i'm generally feeling quite happy.

Work is going well still, I'm still enjoying it and begining to close jobs off without as much help from the rest of the team, however I do realise just how much I don't know and learning it will be a long slow process. Myself and the guy who started 2 months ago are going to ask to be sent on training courses for installation and mantenance of various bits of software which they have on site here, this will hopefully help us with how the software works and where various log or error files are and maybe also some of the common problems as well as useful contacts to call in future if there are problems.

On the rocket front I'm WAY behind, luckily the rocket is structurally there however there is lots of fillering, sanding and painting to go as well as making up the payload bay and solering the components in place. It doesn't seem like I'll be heading out in only 4 days as i'm so busy with stuff.

Life in general is good, for some reason I've been very tired lately, but this could just be down to stress of job move followed by being very busy with holidays, rockets etc. we'll see what happens in October which is when i next have a free weekend to spend some quality time in bed :)

work, update, mood, holiday, rocketry
