Gay Refugee Claimant Fights Deportation To Nicaragua
Hmm, I just saw on the news that a gay Nicaraguan refugee is likely being sent back (after being here for years), possibly because he isn't obviously gay enough (!) [http://www.citynews.ca/news/news_7676.aspx]. I just checked out the Egale website [http://www.egale.ca] and it doesn't seem to have been updated since early December, which is unfortunate. Then I noticed that they are looking for volunteers to update the site (heh) and submitted my name. Hopefully they are intervening in the case...
