My younger sister Anita came to visit this week, as my younger niece is going to have a birthmark removed at Sick Kids Hospital. The kids were much less uncontrollable than I thought they'd be, and both really liked meeting Julie, though Ceili didn't like it when the dog barked at times. Bria is a total Dora addict, and I still have a couple of songs in my head from one of the DVDs ;)
Here's a picture of Celie; at 8 months, she's almost ready to crawl, though the hard floor didn't give her enough grip.
The highlight of the trip was going to the zoo, though we had quite an adventure at the border when we went to Niagara Falls, NY, since a certain uncle forgot his passport and someone else had ID issues as well, resulting in a nice 90 minute visit to the border office. Anyway, the zoo was good, and here's Bria and Dad looking at elephants...
There were also these fake caves that kids can play around in, and here's Anita, Bria and Ceili. Bria also decided that this photo of her as a sleeping monkey was one of her favourites.

While Mom and Dad had lunch and fed Ceili, Bria and I checked out the "Fun Zone" petting zoo, where there were pigs, goats, and also big turtle shells to play in. Here's Bria as "Shelly".
At the end of the day, Bria also got to ride on a camel, which she enjoyed quite a lot.
It was a good, though busy visit. Hopefully next time things won't be quite as hectic (I think we'll skip crossing the border again) ;)
