I did, a few days ago. I liked it a lot, but I can't understand why it's called "perfect blue"; did I miss something?
I watched Ghost in the Shell, too. Are there more of them? Is it a series of some sort?
I love these kinds of movies.
Also, besides watching the parades, what should I do this week? This is my first time in Toronto for pride week; do you have any recs of places I should go or things to see? What are you doing this week? Email me.
I was never really sure of that, but I think it's related to mood, like Perfectly Blue or something, since she gets so freaked out ;)
There's another GITS movie (Innocence) and then 2 seasons of a tv series (Stand Alone Complex and SAC 2nd GIG) - I have a chinese bootleg of the first season with occasionally dodgy subtitles (but great packaging - lol) and fansubbed divx files of the second. I'll be renting/duping the North American versions eventually too if you want to wait for better subtitles - your choice ;)
Next week there is all kinds of stuff going on - grab the Pride issue of Xtra - probably came out yesterday. I'm sending out the invites to our annual Pride Party on the weekend - so after the parade you'll have to drop by.
psst....jumped on your LJ from T.O boards...noticed you have a DS...I just got mine...how do the friend codes work? I've got Mario Kart, Metriod, Age of Emipres, Super Mario...and Nintendogs...I'm a girl..I do that.
to find out your friend code - each game has a "confirm code" option somewhere in the nintendo wifi setings - that's the code you give out. There will also be an "add friend" option where you type in someone else's code (mine are in my userinfo). Both people need to add the codes for it to work (kiddie friendly).
OOoooOOooo.....will have to try it out...do I have to buy a wifi or did it come with the system? For some reason I believe I needed to buy it....I might try this out some point...not sure how I will do it as my husband I share our games and only have one copy of each game.
hmm, if you both have systems (and the same game or a game that supports 1-cart sharing) you can link with each other in the same room (not on the internet). In order to play online against/with other people you need to have a wireless router, the nintendo wireless adapter, or go to a wifi hotspot (coffeshops, mcdonald's etc).
