woot!
I'm home from an absolutely stellar road trip. It was me and Sammy and Heather, and we went to what are becoming my "usual" places - DC, Jersey, and NYC. We did a LOT in DC considering we were only in the city for about five hours. My favorite i think was an exibit on Visual Music in the Hirshorn (Modern Art). I also bought a print of one of my favorite paintings there.
Jersey was fantastic, as usual. I love Suzy. I love Chris. Sam's cool, too. lol. . . so on Monday Suzy had to work and Sam had to look for a job, so Chris took us to Redbank, where he performs with his theater group. He also took us to the Church where part of Dogma was filmed and a comic book store where they have some other stuff from the movie, like the statue of the "cool Jesus."
New York was, well, New York! We ate at Bubba Gump's and then went to Toys R Us in Times Square. On the way to Central park we managed to find Radio City Music Hall, Tiffany's, and the Trump tower. We walked around Central Park for like an hour looking for the Carousel, but I don't think it exists. Or maybe they moved it. Dinner was at TGIFriday's, and we walked down the street where I stayed in a hotel last summer, so I was all excited because I recognized everything. On the way back to the train we went by the Empire State Building, which was all lit up.
I also went to two new coldstones, one in Arlington and one in Redbank. Since then i found out there's one in Times Square, but I didn't see it when we were there. How aweful! I'll just have to go back.
I'm registered for two classes at FSU, history at 8:00 *AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!* and art at 10:00. I wish I could drop the history, because there's one at Greensboro that I'd really like to take and I wanted to take psychology at FSU, but it was full.
I've been working all day, so I'm going to take a shower. I smell bad (haha! ok, sammy and heather get it). Tongiht I'm going to see Madagascar with Steven tonight. yay!
