So much for making entries on a regular basis.
Lori and I took the kids to the zoo last Friday. The panda's cooperated and put on a nice show. I think the elephants were Galen's favorite though. Perry seemed most excited about the tiger. We went to Oyamel for a late lunch. An excellent meal as always. Perry and Galen really behaved themselves all day so it was an extremely pleasant outing all around. I spent Saturday working on stuff for Fred. That's the consulting job I foolishly agreed to recently (as if I didn't have enough to do). I think I can do some useful work for them as least so that's something.
Sunday was back to working on the bookshelves and putting together the workbench in the basement. Only one more bookshelf to stain at this point. I'm going to have to restain one of the bookshelves though. It definitely came out too light compared to the others.
Not a terribly exciting weekend, but productive and pleasant which is still a good thing.
