Farewell JJ

Jan 11, 2005 14:02

Today is the last day JJ will be with us. She's finally feeling better and it looks like she'll have just enough time to get one more wall of the mural done. The partially completed version I saw last night already looks terrific so I can hardly wait to see it completed tonight. Here's wishing JJ a safe trip home (and back to England) and hoping that we'll see her again very soon!

I spent the weekend taking care of the boys and moving lots of firewood. We had originally stacked the firewood underneath the deck right next to the house. I have since been informed that that is a bad idea. That much wood next to the house is an engraved invitation for termintes. Consequently, I spent most of Sunday moving the wood to a new location near the shed (and far from the house). What fun. Fortunately we don't have that much firewood so it really didn't take that long.

Back to trying to make a classifier work on a teeny 8 bit processor. At least I finally got the FFT algorithm working correctly.
