[Liz isn't sure what's going on or how the heck she ended up in the room she's now standing in, but she is nore than a little bit alarmed. The last thing she remembered was helping Chloe escape the Edison Group's facility. The chaos of the demon summonings and people dying ..]
[She looks around the room, only vaguely taking solace that this place

[Excuse Chloe as she gasps over here.]
Y-you're... you're alive?
[Yes, she sounds ecstatic about that... but then her tone changes at the end of her question to one of hesitance and uncertainty. Was it possible?]

CHLOE!! CHLOE!! Oh my god!! You're here too?! I knew there wasn't anything to worry about! OH. EM. GEE! Like, this is suddenly SO much less unfortunate! Where are you guys?! Everyone is here, right?
[She is in hardcore :D mode just now.]
[And then she is bouncing.]
OH MY GOD, I KNOW!!!! Chloe .. CHLOE .. I'm holding the book. It's in my hand and I'm not using my powers or anything! I can see my hands! Like, this is totally unreal!!

...
[A bit of a laugh.]
Yeah, I'm here. Not--not everyone is, though. So far it's just you, me, and Derek.
[She frowns on her end, clearly worried, but knowing Liz she wouldn't appear too down-heartened by this. She hoped.]
You--you can touch it?
[And there's awe in Chloe's voice right now. Whatever was going on, it had better not be some cruel joke, because Chloe didn't want Liz upset later on once they got home. If Liz would want to go home. Worry creases between Chloe's brows. She distinctly remembers a conversation about boys they had, and how cheated she assumed Liz must feel to never really experience all that. If someone was messing with Liz, Chloe would not be a happy camper.]

[There is only the briefest of pauses as Chloe tells her who's here.]
Oh .. well, that's two more than I thought were here just a few minutes ago! And if, like, we're here now then Tori and Simon could show up at any minute.
[See? She's totally positive about all this .. for now.]
[Then she bobs her head and even if Chloe can't see her, the exuberance will practically fling itself off the pages at her friend.]
YES! Like, touch touch! Like, I'm holding the journal in my hands right now! I'm bouncing up and down .. on the ground .. and feel the floor under my feet.
[She hadn't felt for a pulse or anything yet, though. Who would think of something like that under the circumstances?!]
Reply
They could, definitely.
[After all, Liz was here now.]
Liz, that's--that's great! H-hold on a sec.
[Chloe fidgets for a moment.]
Okay. Where are you? We should totally meet up! I have a lot to tell you about this place. And I think you deserve a hug.
[She's grinning widely at that.]

Umm, yeah, sure ..
[She waits patiently, looking around at the room that is supposed to be hers for the time being with a bright smile.]
Hmm? Oh .. ummm .. lemme look .. Is there, like, a number or something?
[She is looking around rather avidly before moving toward the door of her room. There is a moment of trepidation as she extends one hand to the knob but it flees entirely as her fingers settle onto the cool metal.]
OH. MY. GOD!!! I'm touching the door knob!! I'm totally touching the door knob, like, right now!
[The happiness is in her words and the happy little bounce she gives before turning the knob and stepping out into the hall.]
Whoa .. it's like .. a real life castle or something .. This is, like, totally awesome!! Umm .. okay .. number or something, right? OH! 2133 .. is that what you

Just be careful, okay? Most of the people are cool here, but... not all of them.
R-Really? Awesome! We're on the same floor. I'm in 2119.
[Shuffling sounds can be heard--fabric and footsteps and movement from the journal. Then Chloe sees Liz in the hall and smiles.]
Hey.
[She's closing the distance between them--and closing her journal--so she can give her friend that hug, now.]

I'll be careful, Chloe .. I'm not in any hurry to see myself hurt.
[Then Liz is beaming as Chloe says they're on the same floor and her eyes are peeled as she waits in the hall. She's a bundle of excited qnd anxious nerves, shifting from foot to foot until she sees her friend approaching down the hall.]
CHLOE!!
[She rushes at her friend, arms wide for a hug she's dying for. Let's see how well this goes, eh? :D]

Oh. MY. GOD!! This is so cool!! Chloe, oh my god!
[She releases her friend and grasps her hands in her own, beaming.]

I'm happy for you! This is so awesome, Liz.
[She squeezed Liz's hands with meaning.]
You deserve this.

Chloe, this is like, totally unreal! I never thought I'd get another chance to actually, like, interact and be with people again!!
[She pulls back, beaming widely at her friend.]
This Deior guy has to be, like, the coolest wizard ever!
Reply
He may not be a wizard. No one knows who or what he is. And...he's kind of gray in the whole good guy or bad guy scale. I-it's kind of like being at Lyle House all over again.
[Opening the door to her room, Chloe nods and motions Liz to go in first.]

Once in her friends' room with the door properly closed, Liz looks at her and listens, pushing back onto her bed with an air of open curiosity.]
So... we're right back in the same thing again?
[There just might be a palpable tension in Liz now, and a slight tremor to her voice. Her smile has gone completely as she searches Chloe's face for any hints or answers.]

Well, it seems similar, doesn't it? We're brought here, given cells. No idea why we're hear except a letter that says our worlds were destroyed.
Our world, Liz. With no hint of evidence. Even then, who is to say that can't be faked? After everything the Edison Group put us through, I'm not so willing to believe everything I'm told.
This place is strange, Liz.

I think it'd be awful hard to make worlds disappear...
[She looks at Chloe then, her blue eyes intense.]
And that's, like, the thing... It's not just us, but everyone. All the people from other places and times. You'd think it'd be hard to destroy everything.
[They had Liz killed. Believe me, she's willing to be doubtful.]
