[Oh, HI, new voice! She watches as Ezra's words transcribe into the journal the same way as the other guy and her own words did.]

Well, I guess that answers that .. I mean, like, the whole .. words appearing in the book as you talk thing. I wasn't sure if I got, like, the newest edition of 'The Dead Girl's Journal' or if this was all inclusive in every version.

Do wizards do stuff like this? Is that normal?

Well, that's good then .. I think .. I mean, like, at least we're all on the same level, anyway..

[That's what Liz does .. gets people using their brain pans!]

Well, the wizards I know, no .. but he was just a teenager and still, like, learning stuff. I don't know if it's something wizards would, like, normally do .. but I think it's something an experienced or older wizard might do. I mean, it's just as likely as anything else, isn't it?

But if a wizard can do this, how do we know they're telling the truth about our worlds being gone?

[Cue Liz pursing her lips, because this was all too well a possibility.]

So, like .. if this is all just some game the Edison Group or whatever is pulling on all of us? I guess it's, like, totally possible that this is all just a big old lie they could be telling us, but ..

But I was dead .. like .. dead dead .. And there's not anyway to be brought back from that as far as I know. If I was brought back by, like, a necromancer or something, then I'd be a zombie and definitely not in as good a shape as I am now. I've been, like, dead for months ..

[Eww. Yeah, decomposing Liz does not make for a nice mental image at all.]

Ugh, I would smell so totally bad .. Ewww.

...You're right, it'd take more than a wizard to bring someone back to life.

[Ezra audibly deflates.]

[Liz might be new here and she might be a bit distanced from the whole 'being alive' thing, but there is no missing the change in Ezra's tone. Guilt, Liz has it.]

Hey .. like, I don't really know anything about this place though, you know? Who knows what is or isn't involved .. I mean, I sure as hell don't! All I know is I was most definitely dead and now I don't seem to be anymore .. There could be any number of explanations that I don't know about, right?

[Optimism, Liz has it! Kinda .. sometimes.]

I guess. But I don't know if any of those explanations would be good enough.

[Liz makes a soft sound before speaking again.]

Well .. Neither of us will know for sure until we find out, right? So .. how about we, like, find out first and then go into freak out mode, okay? Maybe it's a wizard with tons of power and maybe it's something big and scary, but we'll figure it out and get back home or wherever ..

[Do you hear that supportive hint in her voice, Ezra?]

[EZRA YOU'VE JUST MADE A BFF FOR LYFE .. well .. sorta .. since she's not really alive. BUT SHE DON'T KNOW THAT JUICY DETAIL JUST YET~! :D

She smiles brightly to herself as he seems to take this suggestion well enough.]

There you go! See, it's better to stay on the positive side until you, like, know differently. It'll keep you from going bonkers .. Well, it should help keep you from going bonkers .. maybe ..

[She laughs and then shakes her head.]

[Ezra, you cannot possibly deny this bubbly young woman the answer, can you?]

[Of course not. Her happiness is contagious, and it is making Ezra feel quite agreeable.]

[Look at that! He even asked for your name. You should feel quite lucky, that's not something he does too often.]

[Liz won't realize just how lucky she is until she gets to know him better, but she's already thinks he's the bee's knees. Her smile seems ever present in her tone, now, and she even goes so far as to activate the video function.]

Hi, Ezra, I'm Liz ..

[She might not be able to see you yet, Ezra, but them baby blues are shining.]

[There's a lot of shuffling, it's clear Ezra is trying to do something, but nothing actually happens.

It takes him a minute to admit what he was doing.]

...Still can't figure out the video thing.

[Liz looks to be the absolute pillar of patience as Ezra falls silent save for a few sounds. When he voices his issue she brightens once again, her smile never slipping.]

Oh, gosh, that's okay! I only figured it out by accident ..

[She leaned in and kinda whispered that, as if sharing something with Ezra alone. She was perfectly aware of what embarrassment felt like and she wasn't about to put her newest friend through that! She now makes it her mission to help him figure out video posts!!]

So, like, you can do an audio post, right? Well, video works pretty much the same way .. by, like, touching the page. Only, instead of waiting for text to appear when you touch the page, just touch it a little longer. As soon as the image of yourself is showing, I'll see it too!

[Her head tilts slightly to the side, hair curtaining around her face. She has no idea that admitting the problem might be hard for him, but she's taking the matter seriously and not teasing in the slightest.]
