fantasy games!!
i did the most amazing thing last nite. I went to sleep by midnight and woke up at 7AM, feeling pretty good, showered, watched my morning news program (with Dave Price my weather man--*swoon*). AND, i got to work at 9AM. my boss is back from israel and was shocked to see me so early. he got me the prettiest chamsa ever. i am a happy little jew today.
in other news, not only do i have the best boss in the world, but i also have a super girlfriend, who rescued me from my fantasy games cover anxiety...so, thank you chelsea.
ya know, silly erica forgot that part of making a book cover is that there should be some correlation between the image and what is going on inside of the book. which makes above image perfect in my mind. the other images were so random. and off balance. now i can finally allow myself to return to actually working on doing a final edit of what is inside the chapbook. i was hoping to have it done by friday, but now the aim (which must come to fruition) is to have it done and printed in time for MY READING AT THE ZINC BAR!!!!

i hope to finish my class prep early in the evening and do the un-thinkable...put the poems in my brain on paper.
and read judith butler
and finish the sara schulman book i've been reading forever
and write the noah eli gordon review
