This is not true, this can't be true, this is way too good to be true! I checked the website of the Baphomet's Fluch/Broken Sword/Les Chevaliers de Baphomet fan game out of pure boredom to check on their progress, and what do I read in the news? Another fan game, Zak McKracken 2: Between Time and Space has been finished four days ago ( Read more... )

okay so I have no idea what that Zak McKracken game your talking about is - I do know Baphomets Fluch, though. It's one of my favorite games actually :D

Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders is one of the old, very very stone-old adventure games and also one of the first where you didn't have to type in the commands. Yeah, sounds like it popped out some time from the dinosaur era, I know. But hey, I was about 11 or 12 when I played that game, and I don't think it was brandnew even by then.;>_> Anyway, it's total crack, but it was a lot of fun to play.^_^

Baphomets Fluch is SO great!:D Which one did you play? Or did you play all of them? I never played the last one because I highly suspected it to be 3D, and I alas can't play any 3D games without getting sick after a few minutes.^^; That's also one reason why I'm so hyper about those 2D fangames, I was forced to stop playing computer games when every new game became 3D by default. *sigh*

lol kinda reminds me of my first GameBoy ;D I always played one of those ancient games at my dad's old PC. I don't remember the name, though ;)

It totally is! It's like... my favorite Game ever <3
I played Bathomet's Fluch, Bathomet's Fluch - Der Spiegel der Finsternis and Baphomet's Fluch - Der schlafende Drache. I think there's a newer one, though *not sure*
I actually liked them all - the older ones for their style, the last one for its storyline ^^

.... I'd totally be in the mood to play now

Nah, I think the game boy games were more stylish than Zak McKracken!XD Maybe you played Maniac Mansion? That game's way more famous than Zak McKracken I think. Aah, the good ol' times when that graphic and sound seemed like the greatest thing ever in the universe.^__^

There are four of them?? Well, now that you mention it, yes, I think that I looked that up some time ago, but I think I only played the first two of them, because the other ones were converted to 3D if I'm not mistaken?^^; And so true, the style was really great after all those older pixel games, and though I don't know for #3 and 4, I really loved the plot as well, as well as George and Nico.:D

Me too, especially as I finished downloading the game this morning.

No, that's not it. Anyway, it doesn't matter now lol

Yeah, I think so. I'm not up to date anymore since I've been using a Mac instead of a PC lol
The third one is pretty cool, actually. Great story line, great design and definitely not too difficult to handle. I could try to send you a copy, if you want me to?

I've got like one and a half week left until the German exam (it's t he first one).
Thanks, I definitely could do with some luck ^^;

Thanks for offer, but no, I think I will have to do without.^_^ (It's not like I don't want to play, but I can't look at or play 3D games for more than five, maybe ten minutes before I have to go to bed staring at the ceiling for the rest of the day in order not to puke.^^; Yeah, 3D games suck a lot for me. *sigh*)

Eeeww.>_< Do you still have a lot to do for that? Good luck anyway (to get the perfect questions at the exam, I wish you good knowledge for the rest.;))
