This is really interesting take on counters, and I like it!

Hey, feel free to complain or worry. I post these things in part for useful pokings and proddings that our csys-inundated eyes might forget or take for granted. ;)

Looking good!

I was wondering with the previous reactions post how something like Fuu's Guarding Wind (Mamori no Kaze, if you want the Japanese) would be represented; I take it that it'd most likely count as either an interrupt or a general defense buff?

You could play it either way, though I'd be inclined to recommend you make it a counter. Buffs are boring, narratively. Counters are interactive by nature. ;)

So if we do a Battle Fantasia Kickstarter, can we get beam war added in? :D

I admit, this is probably the best approach to a counter command that I've seen so far.
