Mother Knows Best
There came a time, years ago, when I realized I had, with time, become more intelligent than my mom.
That was a difficult pill to swallow, but part of growing up.
She told me long ago "when it's right, you'll just know, you'll know from every fiber of you being" And I would laugh inside. Yes woman. Right. Based upon what? Your desire to believe so? Certainly not based upon my observations of others, nor my own experiences.
With time, I have become more intelligent than my mom.
But not wiser.
