I'm going through exactly the same thing. Before DJing, I used to love all sorts of electronic music, but now I find myself disecting all the tracks I listen to. The beat is too simplistic, the build-up too generic, the vocals too cliche, the DJ is slightlty off-synch, he switched too soon, blah blah. Unless I hear something inthe very specific genre that I want, I just don't enjoy myself.

I used to go to parties and feel elated. Now I'm lucky if I go home mildly satisfied.
