Holiday anime chronicles!
I love having so much free time! This week I watched:
Gundam Seed - up to episode 28 (starting from 23)
Gundam 00 - up to episode 8 (starting from 1)
It's so good to see the "Seed" characters again after 3 years. It feels so nostalgic. Unfortunately, I don't know where could I find more episodes...
To my surprise I discover that "Seed" was aired in Poland back in 2005. It even had a proper dubbing! However, the series was shortened to 26 episodes by removing flashbacks, introductions, openings and most "stress relief" and "casual" scenes (like the episode dedicated to Arthrun's day off). Because of this Sunrise forbade the polish producers to release the show on DVD - only the japanese edition with subtitles was released. What a shame.
"00" is pretty cool. Many of it's plot elements were used in the second season of "Code Geass". Not as character-driven as "Seed", but it has gorgeous animation and has no fillers longer than a few scenes. On the other hand, most female characters are weak and annoying, whereas most males look like atractive females. I'll keep watching this series untill I find a new source for "Seed". I'm pretty sure that Tieria guy will betray his mates sooner or later. Also, I hope the series is not going to become a copy of "Wing", as the latest episode indicates...
