Wooomp there it is.
Wednesday has safelty passed and here I am with another update. Must admit to having tried to steer away from LJ a little this week and get on with some work. Things were getting a bit daft and my slacking escalating again.
So here I am. And not as tired as I expected to be. Infact I actually feel in a rather pleasant mood Indeed.
Last night me and rivetmike were at Rivetmoms for some tasty foo foo in the shape of Sausage casserole, apple strudel and a variety of choc bars. Some Casino on the Nintendo was played and some golf and I made some inroads on a mario and Luigi game on the DS. Mario and Luigi as timelords! It's a wikkid game. I got utterly sucked in for two hours before the battery started to die. It's unusual for me to not start to get bored. The only problem is I have the game saved on Matts DS so I need to play again on our one. Thanks to Chico we have some tasty bits picked up for weekend consumption Mighty Boosh 2, Scrubs 3, malice mizer CD's [some of the outfits look amazing - Japanese 'J-rock' band who wear much of the Lolita Gothic stuffs, Mana [I think] has his own internet shop - if your of a fucking tiny size]Death Jnr [psp] and an anime. Entertain me baby!
Sooo, I'm rambling... Yes, so after golf was played by the boys it was time for a spot of inhouse casino! They have the table, the chips, the card dealing 'thing' and I got to play dealer! My shuffling is pretty good now! We played until about 3.30 getting bifta'd up and drinking some. After getting home I set about making some Sausage sarnies for breakfast and lunch because I wasn't getting up early and sausage sarnies are teh WIN especially when hungover/tired and even more so when the alternative is tuna or nothing!!! We got up a little late this morning [9.00] due to me fucking the alarm off when it first went off at 7.00!! Still, we made it in only 15 min late [9.30] so it's not tooo bad!
Payday today and I already owed myself for passport [£57!!!] and prague hol money from last month. Ah well. With any luck a job will pull through. Have applied for 6 altogether [I have a few more to look into whens I get home and apply for tonight] and have had 2 knock-backs but no interviews as yet. Bah.
Me and rivetmike have tomorrow off [w0000t] for dentist. I'm actually feeling pretty calm about it right now. I'm just nervous about walking away not getting anything done. If not it'll mean registering with a dentist and facing some fat dental bills Eeeeeek :(
Also tomorrow mights be seeing the snoww_wwhite and keefinnan too :)
Been on foot patrol this month from work. It's about a 40 [30if I push it] minute walk and I actually am quite getting into it. It's a bit of exercise which can't be bad. Well, possibly a little bad because of all the pollution I breathe in. Swings and roundabouts I suppose. Or underpasses and roundabouts!
I'm gonna bugger off now and do some work in a chilled manner.
On the whole things dem honky dory.
