Except for a week when I was returned home, I've been here almost two years.

What's it usually like around here, if you don't mind. I only arrived last month and it's been... rather unique here.

Usually things are like living a normal life here. I suppose it isn't that bad if one really thinks about it.

[He smiles a little.] Sometimes you get to see people you never thought you'd see again but wanted to. Some of the events can be rough but we pull together to aid each other.

That's certainly a relief to know. I'm glad that everyone seems to be so friendly. [It was heartwarming, really.]

A pleasure to meet you, Aya. I'm Ion. [There had been the smallest of pauses before he introduced himself as he was normally so used to introducing himself with his title as well. However, he felt that it was just a bit unnecessary in such a place as it meant nothing to anyone who wasn't from his world.]

Despite a minor mishap with a skirt, it's been a pretty nice place so far. I was quite happy to see that someone I knew from home was here. It's certainly made a difference, knowing at least someone familiar is here.

It is. Even if they are a bit shocked to see you at first. Though I don't really blame him, all things considered.
