There was a lot to love about this chapter. To name a few of my favorite bits:
* The search Charm from Luna; Luna is a great friend and deserves to have some limelight. It's also so refreshing to find a shippy fic where the protagonists have more than a few 2D characters as background to their romance. Plus, as someone who loves to take advantage of Ctrl F, I would cherish that spell forever.
* Neville is also a great pal. I really appreciate the quiet, stalwart companionship he provided, and his integrity with his work...unlike some of Hermione's usual study partners. 😒
* The Bloody Baron is my favorite ghost now. His morality, mannerisms, and treatment of his House (plus the bondmate of the Head, natch) all draw me in. I felt strangely proud of Hermione and amused by the Baron when she neatly summed up why she intervened in the fight. Snakey ways can be good for little lionesses.
* Normally, I'd be against fighting staff, but I'm glad your Hermione fought back against Pince (in a nonlethal sense). She's been taken advantage of by those with greater authority/age, or ill-done by them :cough: Dumbles :cough: Molly. This is one time she was able to buck against their unfair treatment.
