Re: THE GREAT DEBATE beyondtoday April 13 2005, 21:21:12 UTC
hehe, ok. you know me and constructive criticism.....anyway~!

the things i question in my life are generally things that have nothing wrong with them because i have already tested and or questioned them once before, thus the "comming up with " part. I know what answer I recieved form God the first time i asked. and i know what the reaction of the person will be the 100th time .. however, the agrivated part of my life consists of the times in which i decide that i trust neither.
HERE is my problem, this could mean weak faith, lack of trust, or some weird self-issue. however, I believe that I see not the amazingness of the mustard seed ( as it were) but instead the very smallness of the seed. when one sees doubt which is not necessary in ones life then i believe it should be reduced by some method. If for no other reason than to be able to say that trust in othes /youself is growing. ... now you will say " ok but should you trust everything you hear? as a child would."? well first i would like to say (in compliance with your argument) that a child realy does NOT accept things for what they are. most any parent will tell you that when a child asks "why" it will be continually asked untill the child is given a distinct answer... even if it is "because i said so"! so thus questioning is "good" .. now... sopose that same child says "why ?" and questions the motive behind his /her parent telling them to buckle their seatbelt, or not touch the light soccet.... what then? ... I know it would not be wise of the parent to allow their child to question unnecessary things of that nature, those things were made very clear by the Father, and should thus not be argued for the health of the child. questioning at this point would be more of blatant disrespect and disobedience rather than feeding continual curiossity.

;) ok bro... now that you got me going.. let's see what ya got~!
