I've practiced this thing several times, I have it down pretty well, but I'm terrfied I'm going to fuck it up tomorrow.
stutter. stumble. not be clear.
gaaaaaah. I haaaaaate giving presentations.
but......then it'll be done. 12 minutes of terror, and I'm done researching. the folks are coming down tonite, so I'll get to see them tomorrow, and then we head home.
I'll be home for a little over a week.....it'll be the longest I've been home since Christmas.
that's probably not such a bad thing though, considering I have like 2 friends in Newburgh and they both have busy schedules.
oh well. time with the fam will be good. I'll get to do a whole lotta nothing. :)
back down here on the 17th or 18th. work starts the 21st, meetings with Dean about my thesis start not long after, roommates move in (and people in general return to DE! yaaaaaaay!), classes begin on the 28th. life will be wonderfully busy.
ewwwww, wait.....I have to start thinking of the GRE's. and by thinking, I mean studying and getting ready. Maryland doesn't require them for my program because my GPA is good enough, but still. uuuuugh. standardized testing. *raises fist* damn you entrance exams!!!
although it may be difficult adjusting to having roommates, lol. I've had this place to myself the entire summer, I've been spoiled. :P Katelyn's been in town for a few days, and she's come here unexpectedly a few times. got annoyed (esp since she brought Colleen to see the place while I was lying down for a nap) but then I gotta remember.....it's her place too.
but it'll be nice to have people around again. :)
