Ariel is distracted.
To say the very least.
She's just come into ownership of a hotel when she knows absolutely nothing about running one. Thankfully, it practically runs itself at this point. Brando had to split so often that he hired people who could do the job, correctly, and without him being around for most of it. She was needed to sign a few papers here and there, look over documents, and occassionally sit into a boring meeting.
It's still on her mind, too. Brando. Why would he leave this to her? She hasn't come up with any answers yet. It's been decades since... what they shared, what they had... special as it was.
On top of that, she's found her ward, finally, and he's not exactly what she'd been expecting. Somehow he's managed to get himself into trouble with two psycho women in the short time that she's known him. He's planning something that affects someone else in the basement, but she can't get from him just what it is.
So she's in the common room with papers that she's not really paying much attention to and though she looks distant, she's completely approachable.
